Alleged split: APC is united in Nigeria – Oyo Chairman

Date:

By; BAYO AKAMO, Ibadan.
Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Akin Oke on Tuesday said there was nothing like division within the party and its leaderships in Nigeria.
Chief Oke stated this in Ibadan during a chat with the New Nigerian on speculations that the party is now divided with its South West arm and some leaders allegedly planning to leave the party.
The APC Chairman stressed that such an insinuation was nothing but figment of imagination of those behind such, saying,“you  just called it a rumour and I don’t react to rumour”.
“There is nothing like that in the APC family. At least as far as we are concerned in Oyo state APC, we are one, APC is one and intact”, he said
Chief Oke maintained that there was no basis for such in the ruling APC, saying “go and ask those people saying such a thing”.
