All  Set For UNIFEMGA 2nd  Agricultural Programme In Abeokuta

 The Ogun State Chairman of Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates Association (UNIFEMGA), Mr Tairu Olarewaju on Monday, said all is now set for the second annual UNIFEMGA National Agricultural Programme  in Abeokuta.

Mr Tairu in a statement said the annual programme billed for Saturday November 26, will hold at Valley View (Government House) Oke Igbeyin, Abeokuta from 10am.

The Ogun State UNIFEMGA Chairman stressed that the expo themed, ” Agricultural Export Potential: Panacea for National Economic Growth”, will be witnessed by experts in the industry as well as investors in agricultural business.

According to Mr Tairu, Mrs Francisca Odega, Trade Promotion Advisor, NEPC, Abeokuta will speak on the topic, “Harnessing Export Potentials in Agriculture” while Dr. Abdul-Rafiu Ayoola Monsur, Head, Seed Technology Unit, National Horticultural Research Institute, Ibadan, will take participants through cashew crop.

Other highlights of the programme is showcasing Nigeria Economy Crops, a case study of cashew and cassava, among others.

A former Vice-Chancellor of University of Uyo and a retired Professor of Agricultural Engineering, Prof. Fola Lasisi will be the father of the day, while Alhaji Ambaliu Adegbola Ishola, Abeokuta branch Chairman of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria,  is expected to chair the occasion.

The statement listed other invited Special Guests of Honour at the event as, Professor Wahab Egbewole (SAN),  Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Professor Musa Aibinu, Vice Chancellor, Summit University, Offa, among several others.

The National President of UNIFEMGA, Engr. AbdulFattah Olanlege will lead other members of National Executive Council and branches to the  conference.
