Lawmaker representing Ondo East Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji has praised Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on the operating licence he secured for Ondo Multipurpose Port at Ilaje.
The lawmaker who is popularly known as Landmark said on Thursday that Governor has attained immortality in the heart of the people of Ondo State by working extremely hard to secure operating licence for the Ondo Port.
The lawmaker also said that he was certain that generations yet unborn would continue to appreciate Akeredolu on the approval secured for Ondo Port.
He further opined that what Akeredolu had achieved with Ondo Port has simply secured immortality for him in the minds of the good people of Ondo State.
Oladiji also commended Akeredolu for proving himself as a visionary leader whose relentless and committed efforts on Ondo port approval has placed the Sunshine State on a pedestal of economic prosperity.
The obviously elated Landmark further said that the approval of Ondo Port’s Operating Licence by the Federal Executive Council was the best generational gift to have ever come from Governor Akeredolu and indeed from any past governor of the Sunshine State.
“Governor Akeredolu truly deserves commendation for fulfilling his electoral promise by securing approval for Ondo Port. The governor his indeed given a generational gift to the people of Ondo State. This gift is of course the very best in the governance history of Ondo State.
“Aketi has truly proven himself to be a selfless leader that is driven by vision and mission. It can only take a visionary leader like Aketi to have given everything in his bid to secure operating license for Port Ondo. The man is not unmindful that he must have completed his tenure by the time the port will commence operation. Yet, the vision driven governor still gave his all to secure the licence approval for the benefits of even unborn generations”.
Meanwhile, Oladiji also added that Aketi has placed the economy of Ondo State on the path of diversification for greater prosperity. He however urged the people of Ondo State to reciprocate the selflessly commendable efforts of Governor Akeredolu by giving total support to his administration.
“People of Ondo State now have every reason to rejoice and to also show appreciation for role played by Governor Akeredolu in making what used to be a dream become a reality. Our selfless and ‘Talk and Do’ Governor can only be appreciated by showing total support to his administration” said Hon. Olamide Oladiji.
