The programmes initiated by Nigeria’s first lady, Hajiya A’isha Muhammadu Buhari facilitates the progress and development of women in Nigeria at both urban and rural settlements.
This was expressed by the permanent member at the Kano State Pension Trust Fund, Hajiya Hauwa Ahmed in an interview with our correspondent in Kano, adding that Nigerian women have seen how the ” Future Assured” programme is making good impact to the progress and wellbeing of the people across the country which is a landmark victory of the project initiated by the first lady.
Hajiya Hauwa Ahmed announced that Hajiya A’isha Buhari is trying to bring out more programmes that are beneficial to the women, teenagers and girl-child education to enhance national development with all the necessary support from the federal government in various sectors without bias.
She stated that Future Assured is getting more recognition, and the programme is touching every aspects of livelihood, that is why Nigerian women are solidly behind the project at rural and urban communities.
Hajiya Hauwa commended the wife of the Kano State Governor, Hajiya Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for following the footsteps of the Nigerian first lady in the areas of women development, girl-child education and so many important programmes that are special to women and teenagers across the state.
At the end, the permanent member called on the Nigerian women to vote President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for continuity and general development of our country and Kano State.
