An operative of the South East security outfit popularly known as Ebubeagu has been killed in Ebonyi State by the unknown gunmen.
The victim, Mr.Sunday Izhikpa, a native of Nduakparata Igbeagu in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was reportedly murdered by suspected gunmen.
It was gathered that late Mr. Izhikpa was gunned down at his duty post, Mkpuma Ekwa-oku in Izzi LGA of Ebonyi State.
A close source explained that the corpse of the Ebubeagu personnel has been evacuated from Mkpuma Ekwa-Oku, where the incident took place.
Reacting on the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Chris Anyanwu who confirmed the incident, said, “yes it happened this morning,” but that he is waiting for the officer in that police division to bring the details of what transpired.
