The three tears of government have been charged to as a matter of urgency, address the problems of skyrocketing of prices of food items in the country.
A traditional title holder in Zazzau Emirate, Alhaji Mustapha Adamu Ubaidullah, Marafan Yamman Zazzau who gave the charge in Zaria stressing the need of urgent steps in that regards.
He said, “Nigeria under democratic government should have been enjoying dividend of democracy but sadly it is not.”
Marafan Yamman Zazzau, said Nigerians were patient enough considering the unprecedented hardship they are going through but the government is ignorant on those problems.
According to him, the skyrocketing price of food items in Nigeria is making many household to sleep without eating anything.
The traditional title holder also reminded the government that they have taken oath of office with promise to safeguard the welfare, security of their lives while in office but it seems this has since been forgotten.
Also the issues of distributing food stuff to the people which is currently going on it will not going to save the situation at all.
Alhaji Mustapha Adamu Ubaidullah, Marafan Yamman Zazzau use the opportunity to congratulate the Nigerian Pilgrims for the successful Hajj .
Also felicitated with Muslims from Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole on the successful Eid El – Kabir celebration.
