An All Progressives Congress (APC), stalwart from Yola North Local Government Area in Adamawa State, Honourable Abubakar Baba Zango has set up plans and agenda in motion to run for the House of Representatives.
Baba Zango said he will win the election by God’s grace because the present representative has failed woefully.
He said this while making an official declaration of interest to contest the Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency seat in the National Assembly at his Yelwa Ward in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area.
Zango, a reknowned grassroots politician, being a former councilor who represented the ward from 1999 to 2002 and later became a Commissioner of Youth and Sports, told the crowd that gathered on Monday to witness his declaration, that jobs creation, skills acquisition, education, water supply, and health are his main areas of focus.
According to his presentation, if elected as the federal lawmaker at the National Assembly, he will sponsor vibrant bills and give brilliant ideas on amendment of defective laws.
He told his supporters that he will make sure public funds are controlled and used judiciously, investigating anything that the executive is doing with oversight functions as his area of focus.
Baba made a passionate appeal to all APC stakeholders in Yelwa Ward to support him by rallying round him to secure the ticket for their collective interests.
Zango who is popularly known as ABAZA is a successful businessman with a passion to serve humanity at all levels, assured his kinsmen of serving them better.
