Adamawa Set To Receive Buhari On Official Visit Tuesday

Yola, the Adamawa State capital is all set to receive President Muhammadu Buhari on a one-day working visit.
While in the state, Buhari is scheduled to declare open the Adamawa State Anti-corruption summit, with the theme “Performance Based, Transparency, Accountability and Social Value”.
The state Deputy Governor and Chairman of the summit Local Organizing Committee, Mr. Martins Babale told newsmen in Yola Monday that Alhaji Ahmad Joda will chair the summit.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Barrister Boss Mustapha, acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu and the Acting Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices and related offence, ICPC, Professor Bolajo Olusasanoye would be lead discussants at the summit.
According to the Babale, the Anti-corruption summit is historic to both Adamawa State government and the country at large as it is a proof that the anti-corruption drive of the president which has received wide acclaims in the world is equally rooted at the grassroots.
