The member representing Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives (HoR), Gibeon Goroki has said  that his loyalty to Atiku Abubakar is non negotiable.

He said his belief in Atiku is because of his love and passion to save the country from total collapse.

According to him, following the near-total collapse of the country,  only Atiku Abubakar has the requisite experience to salvage Nigeria from the comatose stage than any presidential candidate in whichever political party.

Gibeon described Atiku, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a unicorn, whose winning chances are very high because he is the masses’ candidate.

Goroki who is a strong supporter of Atiku has started consultations for Atiku Abubakar in his constituency and has mounted a big billboard with the inscription, “2023 Atiku only.”

He said the message on the billboard in his Guyuk hometown is a message that the coming 2023 in Adamawa and elsewhere, he is duty bound to only support Atiku Abubakar, his political godfather.

The former Guyuk Local Government Council Chairman while responding to questions, said that  it’s unfortunate the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party has performed below expectations to get the overwhelming support to win the 2023 presidential election.

According to him, it’s glaring that President Muhammadu Buhari’s policies and modus operandi is anti-people, scheming out things for himself and  cronies to benefit.

He recalled how insecurity has thrown  the country in a bad light in the eyes of the international community and failed promises building to the 2015 election are working against the ruling party.

Gibeon gave a current example of the bickering between ASUU and the Federal Government that cannot resolve over seven months of lingering strike.

This unresolved strike by  ASUU Goroki said, is inhumane and the lack of good standard of living as a result of the battered economy is something heavy on Nigerians who are unprepared, and untimely to face.

“Tell me with this excruciating pain Nigerians are going through, how can this party win the election? The people of Nigeria are crying left, right and centre. Anywhere you go it’s one complaint of the other that the harsh economy is biting hard on Nigerians,” Goroki said

Goroki while reiterating his loyalty to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, said it is one of the reasons he finds himself as a scapegoat, the sacrificial lamb meant to be slaughtered for the interest of many politicians in Adamawa State.

Despite his political heavy battles,  he is still a strong supporter of the former vice president and he can not change for a dime, his love for Atiku and is seriously working hard to have him  as the President of Nigeria in 2023.

“I won’t negotiate my loyalty to former Vice President Atiku with nothing else, I remain his, and I will ever be part of him because he is my political godfather.

“I have started a wide consultation in and outside Adamawa on the need for Atiku to take over the presidency come what may,” he added.

The die-hard PDP lawmaker said the party is regaining strength out of the in-house feuds  and it is to the advantage of Atiku Abubakar.
