The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Policy and Strategy, Ibrahim Bapetel Hassan, has described perpetrators of the recent communal clash in Girei Local Government and the Gombi bomb blast as satanic..
Bapetel who made the remark at the Federal Medical Center Yola when he paid a sympathy visit to the victims alongside Senator Abubakar MoAllayidi and Senator AbdulAziz Nyako, noted that such actions can only be perpetrated by satanic minds.
He commended the efforts being put in place by the President which has led to the restoration of sanity especially in the three worst affected North Eastern States of Adamawa, Yobe and Borno, noting that with such tempo, very soon such ugly occurrences will be a thing of the past.
Bapetel added that with the steps the presidency is taking towards ridding the country of the menace of Boko Haram insurgency, corruption and other criminal activities, he has absolute confidence that the country would soon regain its lost glory.
He noted that the present government under the leadership of President Buhari has set up a clear roadmap to economic prosperity, crime free and egalitarian society in which every Nigerian will have a better deal.
He called on all the people to support the president’s change mantra noting that every Nigerian has a role to play towards salvaging the country from its current malaise occasioned by years of neglect.
