ACG Dangaladima Visits Kano/Jigawa Area Command, Emphasizes Discipline, Teamwork, Stakeholder Engagement

Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Sambo Kaliel Dangaladima, Zonal Coordinator Zone B of the Nigeria Customs Service, conducted a working visit to the Kano/Jigawa Area Command. He was accompanied by CAC of Kaduna Command, Comptroller Ahmed Tijjani Abe fsi, PhD and other senior officers from the Zonal office.

It said that they were graciously hosted by the Customs Area Controller of Kano/Jigawa Area Command, Comptroller Dauda Ibrahim Chana.

The visit was marked by a grand parade, where the Zonal Coordinator Zn B addressed the officers and men of the command, emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to the service’s core values.

During his visit, ACG Dangaladima inspected the Habbas Bonded Terminal, assessing its operational efficiency and compliance with customs regulations. He also visited the Customs Training College, where he toured some ongoing projects.

Additionally, he engaged in a productive dialogue with stakeholders, including representatives from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, business community, Customs licensed agents, and Terminal operators. This interaction provided a platform for addressing concerns, fostering collaboration, and enhancing trade facilitation.

As a seasoned customs officer, ACG Dangaladima reaffirmed the Nigeria Customs Service’s commitment to border security, seamless trade facilitation, and enforcement of federal government policies. He emphasized the importance of cooperation with sister security agencies and stakeholders to ensure a conducive business environment.

The visit of ACG Dangaladima to the Kano/Jigawa Area Command underscores the Nigeria Customs Service’s dedication to enhancing operational efficiency, promoting trade facilitation, and fostering stakeholder engagement especially under the leadership of the CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR and his management team. His leadership and guidance will undoubtedly contribute to the achievement of the service’s strategic objectives.
