Ahmadu Bello University Zaria has lunched a 32GB e – Learning flash for the Postgraduate Students to enable them have easy access to their studies.
The Vice Chancellor Professor Ibrahim Garba who lunched the device during the 2018/2019 Postgraduate Students Matriculation ceremony held at the PG Auditorium.
Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration Prof A Z Abubakar said the e – Flash will transform the students and make them squinted with the new PG School reforms.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the digital flash will be used in Laptops, Computer and Cell phones and it can be used any where for research and learning.
He advised students to always visit the school potal for information and guide as related to the PG School programme.
The Vice Chancellor said the University is migrating to the Postgraduate education and this set is the 1st in reform programme.
“Changes is guided by the new reforms and the University is setting the move for other Universities to follow as a way to develop their curriculum.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Deputy Dean PG School Main Campus Prof.O.O. Okubanjo said, 16,619 candidates apply for the admission while 11,701 paid for the forms and 11,458 completed their form in all 9,008 were lucky to have been admitted.
He said, in the last convocation the Postgraduate School have graduated 5,000 Students.
He also advised the students to abide by the University rules and regulations as well as the PG School guide.
Prof.Okubanjo implore the students to keep the University better while on the programmes as the PG Students.
