ABU Distance Learning Centre,  Edutech Renew 5-year Partnership

Ahmadu Bello University Distance Learning Centre (DLC) has renewed its partnership with Edutech Advanced Business Technologies Limited for another five years. 

In a statement issued by the University Public Affairs Directorate,  said, the Director, ABU DLC, Prof. Ibrahim Sule, praised the services rendered by the company during the first MoU period of 10 years, and commended the concession it made to the university amounting to over N30,000,000 per annum.

The Founder/CEO of Edutech Advanced Business Technologies Limited, Onyekachi Ginger-Eke, expressed the company’s commitment to providing better learning experiences for individuals and institutions and to driving effective management of related processes to significantly improve learning delivery. 

He said through its custom platforms in partnership with global institutions like Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Edutech has powered over 20 programs and courses with more than 20,000 enrolments.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala, commended the partnership between the DLC and Edutech for the first 10-year period, and urged that the renewed 5-year period yields even more results. 

Prof. Bala applauded the concession made by Edutech to the University, and emphasized the importance of online learning in today’s world.

 “This renewed partnership is a step in the right direction towards providing quality education through technology”, he said.

The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala; the Registrar, Malam Rabiu Samaila; the DLC Director, Prof. Ibrahim Sule; the DLC Administrative Secretary, Hajiya Aisha Baballe; and the Founder/CEO of Edutech, Onyekachi Ginger-Eke.

The partnership between the University and Edutech represents a significant step towards the proliferation of education globally through technology.
