ABU alleged kidnap: Court issues Bench Warrant on Miss Akpan

The Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Kings Road, Sabon Gari, Zaria on Monday ordered a bench warrant on Miss Joy Enobong-Akpan for failing to appear in court on alleged, and accusing five staff of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria of criminal conspiracy and abduction.
Enobong-Akpan (defendant), a staff of Kashim Ibrahim Library, ABU allegedly accused the staff (plaintiff) of the institution of abducting her biological daughter Iyene a student of the same institution.
The complainants included; Muhammad Gimba-Alfa, Rev. J. F. Buka, Lawal Yakubu, Mohammed Yunusa and Haruna Muhammad.
The presiding Judge, Benjamin Hassan ordered the bench warrant on Miss Joy Enobong Akpan for failing to appear in court alongside with her lawyer Barrister Aminu Adamu which led to adjourning the ruling to August 8th, 2016.
