Nigeria @64: Lake Chad Research Institute Set To Move Country Forward In Agriculture – Director

The Executive Director Lake Chad Research Institute Maiduguri, Professor Baba Gana Jibrin Kabir has said that 64 years of Nigerian Independence Day, offers yet another opportunity to reassess commitment, towards the cause of a New Nigeria in agriculture.

Professor Kabir said, no doubt, it has been a journey with a fair share of its own challenges, but the hope towards a better Nigeria has continued to sustain the drive.

According to him, “the key to Nigerian Unity and progress lies in our collective commitment and resolve to build a better nation.

“It is therefore, paramount that even in our challenges and diversities, we continue to honor the sacrifices made by our founding fathers; by committing ourselves to only cause that will sustain the foundation of growth and progress in Nigeria.

“As a Research Institute, it is yet another day to rededicate our commitment and resolve towards research findings on better agricultural development throughout Nigeria, in line with our mandate.

“This is our continuous dedication to help in building a healthier Agricultural sector in Nigeria.
