*Calls for urgent intervention

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has donated N50 million and six speedboats to the government and people of Borno State.
The governor who made the donation during a visit to Maiduguri, expressed sympathy for the loss of lives and property, and emphasized the need for urgent intervention.
Fintiri called for increased support for the affected communities and urged the federal government to take swift action to mitigate the impact of the disaster.
During the visit, Governor Fintiri, alongside Governor Zulum and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, assessed the flood-stricken areas by boat and met with displaced residents.
New Nigerian reports that the Adamawa Governor was accompanied by key officials, including Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur and other members of his cabinet.
