Reinstate Sacked ASUU Members In LASU, KSU, EBSU, AAUA ASUU Demands

The Academic Staff Union of University, (ASUU), Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) branch on Wednesday, kicked against against the alleged unlawful dismissal of ASUU members by the managements of Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Kogi State University (KSU) Ayingba, and Ebonyi State University, (EBSU) Abakaliki.

Addressing the union members during a peaceful rally around the Adekunle Ajasin University, the Chairperson of the branch Comrade Bolu Oshodi frowned at the unlawful dismissal of ASUU members by the 3 Universities

Comrade Oshodi accused the Managements of the three Universities of being hell bent at silencing the voices of the people especially ASUU members at the institutions

Specifically, the (AAU) ASUU Chairperson condemned in strong terms the ploy by managements of

Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Kogi State University (KSU) Ayingba, and Ebonyi State University, (EBSU) Abakaliki.

The AAU ASUU Chairperson then urged Nigerians to prevail on the managements of LASU, KSU and EBSU to recall the illegally sacked comrades, adding, allowing this to go on unchecked will affect the morale of other members of staff in the three Universities.

Speaking further Comrade Oshodi stressed that some ASUU members are also facing one victimization or the other in their Universities, including Chukwuemaka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma (AAUE), Edo State and Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Imo State.

Emphasizing the need to end all forms of victimizations of ASUU-members in all Universities, called for the immediate reinstatement of all sacked ASUU members in LASU, KSU and EBSU.
