Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, at the weekend, paid a courtesy visit to Kpop Gwong, His Royal Highness, Colonel Paul Zakka Wyom (Rtd) at his palace, in Fadan Kagoma in Kaduna.
Dr. Balarabe showered appreciation for the warm reception and expressed the hope that the newly completed palace will result in better outcomes from the traditional council.
In his response, the traditional ruler expressed delight to have received Dr. Hadiza Balarabe in the newly completed palace of the Chiefdom made possible by the state Government under the leadership of Senator Uba Sani.
He said that government’s efforts are being appreciated by the people of Gwong Chiefdom, hence the mass followership the Senator Uba Sani-led government is enjoying in the area now.
He expressed hope for early commissioning of the beautiful edifice by His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani.
Meanwhile, earlier, the Deputy Governor stopped over at Bedde where she received decampees for Bedde Ward to attend a receptions for decampees, held by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gwong Zone of Jema’a Local Government Area.
The reception received about 338 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts, led by Engr. Joseph Ciroma, which took place at Asso and another at Kagoma.
Also, the chairman of the stakeholders of the ward, Prof. Alexander Kure, presented members who crossed over into APC from other parties.
