Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State, has commissioned the Kaduna Technology City which is the first tech space within the new Kaduna Technology City in Barnawa.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai, assisted by his deputy, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe commissioned the CoLab Innovation Campus, located in Barnawa, as part of activities earmarked to celebrate 55 years of the creation of Kaduna State.
The Innovation Campus is the first tech space within the new Kaduna Technology City in Barnawa.
Kaduna State Government is supporting the new CoLab Innovation Campus facility to encourage the development of ICT in Kaduna State.
Governor el-Rufai said that it is the beginning of great things to come in the state and to also encourage the development of ICT in Kaduna State.
He said the job of the future are digital and the government is committed to ensuring that they attract enterprise and entrepreneur to Kaduna so that they create these jobs for the future generations.
According to him, “we have very optimistic view of the future of this facility and now, this young people started this without any support from the government.”
He said that they have already created multi billionaires that are very active in the tech world working for American, and European companies and more.
