The Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA) has described its chairman, Engineer Musa Nimrod as “God’s gift to the state”.
KADSVA expressed this, in a statement, felicitating Engineer Nimrod on his birthday.
According to the statement signed by the Chairman Media Committee of the board, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, the association is extremely proud to be associated with him.
“He is our Most Valuable Provider (MVP), ensuring the participation of our teams at various competitions.
“Only recently, his motivation saw our U-15 boys and girls record podium finish at the North West Zonal championship in Sokoto, where our girls claimed gold, while the boys settled for silver,” it said.
The association therefore, prayed for God to keep him in good health, long life and prosperity.
HFN CONGRATULATE Mrs Sabina Chikere On Appointment As Permanent Secretary of Edo State Sports Commission

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) have described appointment ofl the appointment of Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere as the Permanent Secretary of Edo State Sports Commission, describing her as " a round peg in a round hole". The HFN president Mr. Samuel Ocheho, who said this on the sideline of a courtesy visit to the office of the deputy governor of Edo State, said that Mrs Chikere has proven that she is not just a competent administrator but she is a technocrat who understands the place and business of sport in the society. "On behalf of the Nigeria Handball Family, I want to congratulate Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere on her appointment as the Permanent Secretary of Edo State Sports Commission". Ocheho said "I must say with all iota of sincerity, that her appointment is a round peg in a round hole because she is not just an astute administrator but also a technocrat who understands the place of sport in the society and the business therefrom. And for all support given to the HFN which has necessitated that Edo State is now home to the National Division One Handball League, I must say a big congratulations once again to Mrs Chikere".
