The founder of M. Nasir Jaoji Foundation, Alhaji Nasir Jaoji has lauded Nigerians for their resilience and contributions to national development since independence.
Jaoji said though Nigeria may not have achieved some of its developmental aspirations since independence, the country has made some giant strides that are outstanding.
In a message to celebrate Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary, Alhaji Nasir Jaoji emphasised the need for peaceful coexistence as no nation can achieve greatness in an unstable environment.
He urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for the nation to overcome its security challenges, noting that with the commitment of every citizens and the support towards the security agencies , the country would come out of this social menace stronger.
He also applauded the developmental drive and leadership qualities of President Muhammad Buhari.
