Kaduna Karate/Taekwando Coach cries out to El_rufai for medical assistance

A medical treatment is urgently required to assist the Chief Coach of Karate in the employment of Kaduna State Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Abdullahi Abdulrahman who now walks with crouches.
Abdulrahman, who doubles as the Taekwando Coach in the ministry, told New Nigerian online in Kaduna that he is usually in pain and needed the assistance of Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and his government.
The veteran Coach who is fondly called Lee Bruce, said he was asked to write a letter to the Kaduna State Commissioner of Health through his counterpart in the Sports Ministry which he did, but that he has not gotten a response from the government up till now.
Lee Bruce also known as Danlami, said he has served Kaduna state diligently and that the records are there. “There was never a time when the state will participate in either national or local competitions I don’t bring honour to it,” the coach stressed.
He said if the number of years he has put up in serving the state is anything to go by, the Kaduna State Government should be magnanous to assist him medically to treat his leg.
A letter dated 8th February, 2016 and addressed to the Commissioner of Health, Kaduna State and signed for Sports Commissioner Mr. Daniel Amazu Danauta by the Director of Admininstration and Finance of the same ministry, Muhammad Tajudeen states thus: “I am directed to write and remind on the above subject matter (re-request for medical treatment of Chief Coach Abdullahi Abdulrahman) which started during the last administration. Find attached copies of previous request to acquaint you with this subject.
“It has become imperative and important to further put in this request in the light of the fact that the ailment seems to be growing worse by the day. Your kind and compassionate attention is hereby solicited… ”
It would be recalled that Danlami Lee Bruce as Karateka and as a Coach in Kaduna State had won medals and awards for the state.
