45,187 PVCs Ready For Collection in Oyo State – INEC REC

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC), Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), in Oyo State, Dr Mutiu Agboke on Monday, disclosed that 45,000 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are ready for collection in the state

Dr. Agboke while speaking through the Commission’s Head of Department, Voters Education and Publicity, Mrs Rosemary Adeniyi, also warned against double registration by the people in and across the state.

According to the Oyo state INEC REC, the PVCs were for potential voters who registered at the first and second quarters of the Continuous Voter Registration between June 28 and December 2021.

He charged the potential voters that registered during the period to visit the INEC offices across the 33 Local Government Areas of the state for collection of their PVC 

Dr Agboke then advisd those interested in using the last quarter of the exercise to register on-line via cvr.inecnigeria.org and also to visit INEC designated registration centres to complete the registration, the REC called on all eligible Nigerians now18 years and above who had not registered before now to do so.

On the double registration, the Oyo state INEC REC emphasized that anyone caught would be prosecuted.
