“We called his phone number severally and there was no response, we went out in search the following day, but when we arrived Breweries Police Station and lodged a complaint about his (Francis) missing, they told us they don’t have any information on his whereabouts.”
Sunday added, “On our way back home, we met some on-lookers along the area watching blood stained scene everywhere and we asked what happened and they told us that it was a corpse of some body who was killed on Sunday in the evening.
“They said they heard his shouts, calling for help, help, but nobody around the area came to his rescue.  The Police have taken his corpse to the Gwamna Awan General Hospital in Nasarawa area,” one of them who sought for anonymity said.
‎Sunday further said, “We returned to the said Police Station and the Police confirmed to us that there was no corpse that was deposited at the Morgue of Gwamna Awan General Hospital by one Inspector Onoja.
“We requested for Onaja’s phone number and we called him, he (Onoja) came and show us the decease’s pictures which was snapped at the scene of the crime and we told them it was our brother.
“Francis corpse spent a week in the Morgue, before it was reclaimed by his family members for proper burial at Agenebode town, Esako local government area of Edo state on March 24th 2016,” he lamented.
Sunday, in an interview with newsmen in an emotion laden voice lamented how for over three (3) weeks, the Kaduna Police Command could not arrest the killers of his brother, adding, “You can imagine nobody was arrested in connection with the murder of our brother. It is very unfortunate and lamentable that the security of lives and property has deteriorated so badly to the extent that an innocent young and promising man could be killed by hoodlums in the area, without arresting even a single person.
“We are calling on the Kaduna State Police Command to fish out Francis’ killers.”
It will be recalled that of recent, hoodlums carrying dangerous weapons such as machete, cutlasses, daggers, and sticks have terrorized Kakuri-Nasarawa-Makera area of Kaduna metropolis, so much that residences are living in fear of being attacked at any time.
Sunday appealed to the Divisonal Police officer (DPO) in the area and his men to urgently do something and arrest those responsible for the death of their brother without delay.
“Failure to do that, we have no option than to take legal action against them, as custodians of law and order in that area,” he added.
