*suspected to have stabbed husband to death over sexual advancement

The Oyo State Police command has arrested a 27-year old housewife, identified as Odunayo Olumale for allegedly stabbing her husband, Olamilekan Salahudeen over sexual advancement to her.
According to the Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Adewale Osifeso, the 27 years old housewife stabbed her husband to death three months after their reconcilation from a recent separation.
SP Osifeso during the parade of the housewife at the Oyo State Police Command headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan on Wednesday, said the couple resided at their Oko-Oba area house in Oyo town until the husband was stabbed to death.
“On 17/11/2022 about 0350hrs, one Ismaila Tijani reported at Dubar Divisional Police headqauters that about 0223hrs of 16/11/2022, that his son named Olamilekan Salahudeen age 35 was stabbed to death with a knife by his wife Odunayo.”, he said
SP Osifeso added, ” the deceased made a move to have sexual intercourse with his wife but rejected, this further led to the struggle where the deceased collected and smashed his wifes phone on me ground and in retaliation, the deceased was stabbed on the chest, leading to his death”
According to the PPRO, the 27years old housewife has since confessed to the crime and her unfortunate role in the incident, and she would be charged to court upon completion of the investigations.
