*1 Android phone, 32 inches plasma TV, other items recovered

A 22 years old man was on Wednesday, paraded by the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over alleged burglary.
Parading the suspect, Oyo State NSCDC commandant, CC Michael Adaralewa disclosed that the 22 years old man specializes in burglary and phone theft.
The commandant stressed that the suspect identified as Aderinto Segun, who hails from Amuloko area of Ona-Ara Local Government Oyo State was arrested at Pegba, along Muslim area of Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan.
He said the suspect was rescued from being mobbed by angry citizens of the area and was handed over to NSCDC by some Agbekoya group members
CC Adaralewa listed items recovered from the suspect as one Android phone, one 32 inches plasma TV, a manual rechargeable fan and different kinds of clothing.
He pointed out that with the zero tolerance policy of the State NSCDC to crime and criminality, the suspect will be charged to court, adding that he confirmed in his statement to have committed the crime and pleaded that justice be tempered with mercy.
Corps Commandant Adaralewa then appealed to the citizens of the state to continue to supply the corps with first hand information to nip crime in the bud and also enjoined citizens to desist from jungle justice.
