2023:Tea Sellers Association Visits Kwankwaso, Says NNPP Presidential Candidate Best For Nigeria

National Association  Of Tea and Bread Sellers have declared presidential candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as the best for Nigeria in the forthcoming February 26 polls.

Executive members of the association were led by NNPP Kaduna North House of Reps candidate for 2023 general election, Hon. Shehu Bawa ABG in the visit to Kwankwaso in his Abuja home on Thursday January 26.

President of the association, Gambo Isa said he would never forget how Kwankwaso as governor of Kano State, trained over one thousand of his members on hygiene management and another four thousand on capacity building, vowing to mobilize energy and resources to ensure the emergence of the politician as next president of Nigeria.

 He decried the current crisis experienced by virtually every sector of the economy, saying Nigeria needed an effective leader, capable of diversifying national income to enable actors in manufacturing, trade and service provision stratas contribute in growth and development of the country.

He recalled with nostalgia days when Kwankwaso was governor of Kano State, saying children from poor homes who couldn’t afford tertiary education were sponsored abroad on scholarship.

“Many of such beneficiaries are now pilots, engineers, architects among other lucrative professions the country needs in her march for greatness.

“Kwankwso is an individual with compassionate heart and passion to see that people at the grassroots who have been abandoned to their fates are empowered so they too can be important members of the society.

“His zeal for education which he believes to be an essential foundation for development cannot be emphasised which is what Nigeria needs at this crucial time with over 20 million out of school children.

“Our economy is badly injured due to lack of distinct economic plan by the current administration to push the country to her deserved place being the giant of Africa with the largest market.

” We call on voters to elect Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in next month’s presidential poll because We are absolutely convinced he is our messiah in the face of political and economic uncertainties ahead of the general election, “he said.

In his remarks, Kwankwaso, while appreciating the association, pledged to fulfill campaign promises of his party, saying the country needed an exemplary leadership, capable of taking it out of the wood.

He added that his good records as governor, minister and senator could spark positively in his favor.

He urged Nigerians to ensure they turn out enmasse to perform their civic responsibility by electing credible leaders in the February and March election, saying all candidates of NNPP contesting one elective position or the other could be trusted with leadership posts.

ABG on his part, commended the association for the solidarity and faith in NNPP, stating that the party had solutions to major problems faced by Nigerians at the moment.

He mentioned insecurity, poor economy, deficit infrastructure and other problems as issues the party would confront head-on as soon as it assumes leadership role after the 2023 general election.
