2023: We Urge You To Vote PDP For More Development – Ochor, Iduh, Onyeme

Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ukwuani Local Government Area have been charged to vote for the party in 2023 for continuity of project delivery to the area.

The leaders of the party gave the charge on Thursday, November 24, 2022, when the State PDP Campaign Council visited Ward 6, Amai, Ward 4, Umukwata, Ward 3, Ebedei, Ward 1, Umutu, and Ward 2, Umuaja.

Welcoming the campaign council to the Local Government, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ochor C. Ochor, who is the Deputy Coordinator of the Campaign Committee in the Local Government Area, stated that the area had benefitted from the development policies of the party, and it will be proper for them to reciprocate such a gesture.

He told the people of Amai Community that the much talked Amai-Orogun Road, which the community has been agitating to be constructed to enable social and economic development, between the community in Ukwuani Local Government, and Orogun in Ughelli South had been approved and included in the 2023 State appropriation bill, assuring them that it will be done.

“I appeal to you because we had never lost any election in Amai. You have been doing well for the party. The party in one way or the other had also rewarded this community, we, therefore urge you to vote for the party in all offices.

“I know that you have one project, which had been a big concern to this community, the Amai-Orogun Road, I have good news for you, the project had been captured in the 2023 budget. And I will follow it up, as I had been doing.

“It will be constructed, and voting for all the PDP candidates is what will want from you, no single one should be lost. Your vote counts much for our victory. And we must win.

“Voting for PDP is to end hardship and underdevelopment.” He concluded.

On his part, the Chairman of the party in Delta North, and Deputy Director of the Campaign Council, Elder Moses Iduh assured the people that their demands will be met and that they will not be disappointed if the party wins the 2023 election in all electable offices.

He said that the issue of the Amai-Orogun Road will be addressed. As the government is not sleeping over it.

“We have heard you on this issue, the road will be handled. I assure you of our party’s sincerity. Vote for all PDP’s candidates in 2023.

“Voting for PDP in all electable offices is what we ask from you, we have heard your demands, vote PDP for continuous infrastructure development, human capital development, and more empowerment of our women and youths.”

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the party, Sir Monday Onyeme assured the people that voting for PDP is voting for more development, more human capital development, and more attention to the area. He called on them, to exercise their rights to vote by voting for the PDP in all offices, and voting massively as it will also determine the rate of Government attention.

Onyeme who is well known for his philanthropic gestures, while reminding them that he is their son, stated that, as the running mate of the party’s candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori they will collectively develop policies along with their campaign programmes for good of the people.

“My people, as your son, and your brother, I assure you that the party will not fail you. We have good programmes to continue the development of the state and this area. I, therefore urge you to vote for PDP.

“Every vote should be for PDP. We must win from the President to the House of Assembly. Vote for Atiku-Okowa for President and Vice-President respectively, vote for Sheriff-Onyeme for Governor and Deputy Governor, vote for Ned Nwoko for Senate, Nnamdi Ezechi for House of Representatives, and Chukwudi Dafe for State House of Assembly.

“I appeal to you, to vote for the umbrella, our great party, The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He stated.

On his part, the Senatorial candidate for Delta North, Hon., Prince Ned Nwoko assured the people that he will drive an agenda of inclusiveness of the communities in the area to benefit from the oil wealth of the area.

He lamented the negligence of the area by the Federal Government and its agencies, despite its enormous contributions to the wealth of the nation.

At the rally where the State Party Secretary, Engr.  Dan Ossai, Mr. Nnamdi Ezechi House of Representatives Candidate, Mr. Chukwudi Dafe, House of Assembly Candidate, Commissioner for Finance, Sir Fidelis Tilije, chieftain of the party Chief Godswill Obielum.
