Campaign Chairman of Hon. Samaila Suleiman, Hon. Adamu Ahmed Dattijo has said the Federal Legislator will boost electoral fortunes of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 General Election in Kaduna State.
He explained that political pedigree and excellent antecedents of the Reps Member would stand him out from other contenders at the poll.
Hon. Dattijo, who was candidate of the opposition PDP in the recently conducted Local Government poll in Kaduna was appointed Campaign Chairman of Hon. Suleiman due to his experience and knowledge of grassroot politics in the state.
According to Dattijo, “we are expecting Samaila in few days to come to officially join our great party alongside with his large supporters after consultation with other stakeholders within and outside the state.
Dattijo listed granting scholarship to hundreds of students, provision of solar streetlights, portable water, healthcare deliveries among others as Suleiman’s achievements in his stewardship as member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Reps.
He disclosed that fortunes of people, particularly youth and women had been changed positively due to masses oriented programmes of the two term legislator whom he described as a compassionate leader with interest of the poor at heart.
” Hon. Suleiman has empowered teeming number of unemployed youth in his constituency with self sustaining vocations so they will become useful members of the society.
” Millions of naira have been expended to train them on various vocations such as welding, farming, plumbing, tailoring among others.
” Communities with electricity challenges have been taken out of darkness with provision of transformers by Suleiman where they were needed, primary health centers equipped to treat patients on special Suleiman’s intervention.
” His landmark achievements as boss of Kaduna North Local Government between 2012 and 2015 are still there speaking volumes of his exemplary leadership traits.
” We at PDP are fortunate to have such a charismatic politician with a huge support across the state.
” I urge delegates of our great party, the PDP to put interest of their people first and interest of the Kaduna North Federal Constituency above personal advantages by ensuring the emergence of Suleiman as Kaduna North PDP flag bearer in 2023 general election if he finally join the party.
” We have so much confidence that he will be a saleable candidate among the electorates due to his good track records and experience in the Green Chamber and above all unequalled leadership qualities that are unmatched among his peers, ” Dattijo said.
