A former Governor of Oyo State, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja on Monday, said the ruling  All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are becoming too arrogant  for Nigerians.
The Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland stated this during a chat with newsmen who were at his Bodija resident for the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations.
High Chief Ladoja berated the two political parties for the high cost of nomination forms for presidential ticket charged   aspirants.
He maintained that the high cost of the forms being charged by the two political parties will have negative effective on the nations economy, adding.that the charges will force politicians to embezzled public funds.
According to High Chief Ladoja, there should be no basis for chosen candidates by the parties because of money but what they can offered the populate.
” The N100million nomination form for President and N50m for governor shows arrogance to the parties, for the president, you are asked to come and take a form of N100m to seek a job of N56m, salary of a governor is about seven million Naira in a year, which means you are going to earn N28m for the four years and you are asked to pay 50m to seek a job of 28m”, he said.
High Chief Ladoja added, ” if other parties can also win elections in some states, the arrogance of the two major political parties will go down, other political parties form is not as high as the two major ones.
“They should understand that they are not the masters, people are the masters, they are just stampeding people thinking that the people would vote for they either they like or not”.
The former governor however,  faulted the  claims by the two political parties that the fee was to separate contenders from pretenders adding that the parties  are only encouraging their candidates to go steal after their emergence.
