2023: Nasarawa Youth Canvas Support For Senator Adokwe For Gubernatorial Race

Youth Leaders in Nasarawa State have harped on the merits of having Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe as the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for the 2023 general elections.
The youth under the aegis of SAA Youth Frontiers disclosed this while submitting its consultation tour’s report to the former three-term lawmaker in Lafia with a clarion call on him to join the gubernatorial race.
The Chairman of the group, Comrade Elisha Ebuga Yohanna, while presenting the report, described him as the best choice of the mainstream opposition to reclaim its lost mandate from the embattled All Progressives Congress (APC).
He called on Senator Adokwe to accept the clarion call to contest in order to rescue and build a state that works for all.
Receiving the report, Senator Adokwe commended the youth for their sacrifices to see the state has a desirable and competent leadership.
The former lawmaker described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the only pan-Nigeria party wholly committed to the Nigerian project and whose only agenda remains the unity, stability and prosperity of Nigeria and its people.
He promised to respond to the clarion call by the grace of God after studying the report and also called on the party leadership to provide a level playing field for all aspirants.
In attendance at the event, were youth leaders drawn from  the thirteen (13) LGAs of the state. They include Barr. Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu, Ambassador Taimako Sunday Anyuabaga, Hon. Yakubu Jibo, Comrade Suleiman Mohammed and Hon. Jonathan Masara among others.
Others include, Alhaji Adamu Oyanki, former state PDP Secretary and Mrs. Patricia Solomon Nghargbu, where they also harped on the merits of Senator Adokwe’s candidacy.
