The National Association of NIgerian Students (NANS) has on Friday, April 8, 2022, paid a visit on the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, condoling him over various attacks by terrorists in the state, while seeking his support for a gubernatorial aspirant in Kaduna State, Sani Sha’aban ahead of the 2023 polls.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Chief principal aide to the NANS President, Kaduna State Axis NANS, Comr Abdulafis Anifowoshe, dated April 8.
“Their is no gainsaying That the primary Assignments of any government is to protect the lives and properties of her citizens, it is consequent upon us to make the following deposition on the recent Attack on Abuja- Kaduna train service, Rijana Kateri community.
While we are mourning current incident of Airport Kaduna and Giwa Local Government Area. We received yet another disheartening Attack on Kaduna train and other communities in Kaduna State.
The leadership Of NANS Kaduna axis alongside some youth leaders visited the Emir of Zazzau and condoled him over the incident,” NANS said.
In the statement titled, “Attack On Abuja -Kaduna Train And Other Communities NANS Kaduna Sympathise With Emir Of Zazzau” the group said such attacks call for serious concern.
“These attack call for serious concern from men of goodwill and conscience as things are conspicuously deteriorating, while citizens remain aloof and asleep with one eye.
“Prayers were offered by our father, leader, mentor the Emir of zazzau Amb Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, for peace, unity and sustainable development in the state and Nigeria at large,” the statement said.
It added that they also used the avenue and informed the Emir of their request to call on Hon, Sani Sha’aban, Dan Buran Zazzau to join the Gubernatorial race.
“Our prayers and support are with him in rescuing Kaduna State at this trying time,” NANS said.
