2023: Masari Promises To Support Group Towards Launching Initiative In Katsina, Donates Bus

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has promised government’s assistance to a Katsina- based non  governmental organization called, “Darika Awareness Forum” towards the launching of Tijjaniyya grassroots mobilization initiative Movement in the state.

This he said, is in addition to donating a bus for the smooth conduct of the activities of the forum.

Governor Bello Masari made the promise when he hosted the state executive of the forum, led by its Chairman Board of Trustees, Sheikh Hadi Balarabe on a courtesy visit.

Governor Masari observed that the forum deserves government attention, considering its role in supporting government’s policies and programmes.

The governor was particularly happy with the firm commitment of the Darika group for their sustainable prayers for the restoration of peace in the state and beyond.

 On his part, All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda promised to change the negative perceptions by some people who consider politicians as personalities with fake promises if given the mandate to lead the state.                       

The State Chairman of the movement, Alhaji Aminu Zubairu said the visit was to emphasize their loyalty and support to the APC candidates at the twenty-twenty three general elections.

Alhaji Aminu Zubairu then promised that the movement would join the wagon of Dikko Radda electioneering campaigns for its victory.

 Earlier, the state Secretary of the Darika Awareness Forum, Malam Abba Yahaya  said the movement attracted representations from all Darika sections had a solid structure to allow for its sustenance.

 Malam Abba Yahya said the movement is currently planning to launch Tijjaniyya grassroots Mobilization Initiative Movement expecting all the “who- is -who” in Tijjaniyya sect from across the country.

 He however, solicited government’s support toward the successful launching.

The Secretary also pleaded the State Government to assist them with a bus that could be used in conveying their increasing members in moving in group around.
