A member board of trustees of Greenfield University Kaduna, Dr. Dave Obiora has appealed to vote the right person as president of the Federal Republic as the 2023 general elections begin on February 25, 2023.

He made the appeal while fielding questions from newsmen on the sidelines of the commissioning of the Digital  Resource Centre of Greenfield University, named after the Obi of Onitsha  recently.

“My appeal to all Nigerians is to vote the right person. While Voting, observe your conscience, search your conscience and vote rightly. Don’t vote in line on anything. Neither religion, or tribe, but vote according to who can perform,” Dr. Obiora who is also the CEO of Khemsafe Computers, charged.

Earlier, the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe tasked Nigerians to remain united.

“Lets live together and work together. What we see today in this community is very impressive. The university and community are living in peace, that should be emulated everywhere in the country,” he said.

He further charged Nigerians to be patriotic, pick up their permanent voters cards (PVCs) and vote massively at the polls.

“What Nigeria needs is a good president that will solve the problems of the country,” he declared.

In his remarks at the occasion, the Pro Chancellor of Greenfield University, Engineer Simon Nwakacha  said that the visit of the Obi of Onitsha is appreciated.

“The Obi of Onitsha’s visit is a good thing for the unity of Nigeria.  You have heard what he said, he is asking for peaceful coexistence, that people should live in peace with their neighbour’s here,” he said.
