2023: Fulani Coalition     Endorses Atiku/Okowa Candidature

After a lengthy and crucial meeting, the unified membership of Lawol Fulaku Youth Development Association of Nigeria In Collaboration with Northern Consensus Movement (NCM)  held in Bauchi and Kaduna respectively, both groups have endorsed the candidature of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

A statement signed by the National President, Fulaku Youth Development Association of Nigeria, Abdulkareem Bayero, made available to our correspondent on Sunday November 27, 2022, informed that they charged all Fulbe registered associations nationwide to vote for Atiku and his running mate.

“We call on and charge all Fulbe Registered Associations across the country to collectively vote for Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa without any doubt come 2023. 

“We also call and remind our members that; a vote for  Atiku/Okowa reflects vote for the entire country as Wazirin Adamawa and His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa are unifying force of all tribes scattered across Nigeria,” the statement said. 

The coalition further reminded all its members and all progressive minded citizens to cast bloc votes for Atiku/Okowa which represents Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) with collective sense of national recognition. 

“The officials of both associations also enlightened and encouraged their members and all Nigerians with sense of collective destiny, peace and unity; that voting for Atiku/Okowa should not be seen as reflection of ethnic exercise, but for all Nigerians survival. 

“At the end of the meeting, the National Secretary of the Coalition Dr. Yusuf Garba  who is also the Director Project Northern Consensus Movement, thanked and appreciated the roles of the press in the  political dynamics of Nigeria,” it noted.
