2023: Former Kaduna Accountant General, AG Declares For Governorship

A former Accountant General of Kaduna State, Haruna Saeed has declared interest to run for state’s 2023 Guber election. 
He declared under the platform of people’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna .
Saeed who was the state’s chief accounting officer under the administration of Governor Ahmed  Makarfi said he decided to contest in response to the yearnings of people whom he noted were dissatisfied with the current security and economic challenges bedeviling Kaduna.
He said he is capable and possesses the needed leadership qualities to positively change the fortunes of the state and serve people with a human face.
The accountant turned politician, pledged to run a consultative administration, promising to be a leader for all by operating an inclusive government, noting that he would consider major ethnic and religious diversities in key decision-making processes of his cabinet.
He recalled with nostalgia, his years in government, saying the state was under capable hands and being run  with interest of the masses at heart.
Saeed, popularly called AG vowed to correct all infractions and deficits in governance experienced , according to him in virtually all areas as they affects lives of residents in Kaduna State.
