Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary and next year’s general elections, a Senatorial aspirant in Ekiti State on the party’s platform, Chief Segun Ajibulu has appealed to APC delegates to give him their votes and support him in his political journey.
Ajibulu also assured them of his readiness to execute the programme and ideals of the progressives if eventually elected.
The tax expert said he had history with the progressives and would always be a responsible representative if the party gives him the ticket of the Ekiti North Senatorial District.
Ajibulu, a pro-democracy activist and leader of the SouthWest Professionals, said he has what it takes to represent his people at the Red Chamber.
Speaking with newsmen at his Ipao-Ekiti country home in Ikole Local Government Area of the State,based his ambition on the desire to serve his people through quality representation.
He urged the people of Ekiti to come out enmasse and join the campaign trail of the APC standard bearer, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO),assuring that his administration would engender peace, unity and development.
Ajibulu maintained that he stands a better chance in securing the ticket of the party since his Local Government, Ikole-Ekiti had not gotten the opportunity to fly the ticket .
He said “I humbly put myself forward before you to be your able representative in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections; I respectively urge our dear party delegates in the next month primary election, to cast their votes for me as APC candidate for the February 2023 National Assembly Election in Ekiti.
“Permit me to remind you all my people that, now that it has been established that this is time for us in Ikole Local Government Area to represent our people, Ekiti North at the National Assembly.” Ajibulu said.
