The Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland and former governor of Oyo State,  High Chief Rashidi Ladoja on Thursday declared that there was no time the Olubadan-in-Council discussed  the security situation in Oyo State in its meeting.
The former governor in a statement by his Media office faulted a recent statement credited to the Olubadan-in-Council on security situation in Oyo State by another Ibadan High Chief on the security situation in Oyo state.
Specifically, the Osi Olubadan said  there was never a meeting of the Council where the security architecture of Oyo state was either mentioned or debated at the Olubadan in Council meeting as claimed in the said statement credited to High Chief Lekan Balogun.
High Chief Ladoja stressed that the insinuations that the Olubadan in Council berated the security situation in Oyo state was a figment of the imagination of the maker of the statement.
He maintained that the statement was capable of demeaning the Olubadan in Council headed by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji and the Council.
High Chief Ladoja emphasized that the statement was not only spurious but an insult to the entire Olubadan-in-Council, adding
High Chief Ladoja stated that though the Olubadan through  his media office has debunked the claims by the said Chief who reportedly faulted Governor Oluseyi Makinde’s handling of the security situation in the state, the fact remains that the said meeting was not attended by High Chief Lekan Balogun who chided the Olubadan.
‘’Since the claim is merely the imagination of my fellow colleague, I am convinced that the media interview he granted was his personal opinion. At no time was Governor Seyi Makinde mentioned at any recent meeting of the Council and the minute of the various Council meetings is there for confirmation by all’’, he said.
Challenging High Chief Lekan Balogun to disclose publicly, particulars of attendants of the meeting he insinuated. High Chief Ladoja asked him ” to mention particulars of the said meeting where the issue at stake was discussed, the venue, date and time as well as those present’’.

High Chief Ladoja stressed that aside the forum of Olubadan-in-Council, ‘’there is no other Council of Obas in Ibadanland’’.
