NSE To Hold National Infrastructure Summit In Abuja On Thursday

All is now set for this year’s  Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) National Infrastructure Summit holding in Abuja this Thursday, July 15.
The NSE National Infrastructure Summit with the theme ” Towards a sustainable Infrastructure Development, Maintanance and Management in Nigeria”,  is billed to hold at Nicon Luxury hotel, in Abuja.
At the summit, the Chairmen of  Panels will include President of Nigerian Academy of Engineering, Alex . O . Ogbedegbe, the Principal Partner , Mechelec Consultants limited, Engineer, Senator Iyiola Omisore and the President, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, Surveyor Akinloye Olufemi Oyegbola 
Other Chairmen of the Panels are President Nigerian Institute of Architects , Architect S.T Echono and President, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, Engineer Ali Almasuya Rabiu.
The topics for the panel are : Government role in the development of Infrastructure in Nigeria, Public Private Partnership, (PPP) in the development, delivery, maintainance and management of sustainable Infrastructure and Performance Based contracts for infrastructure projects.
Also, the topics for the panel included Innovative infrastructure, Project Financing , Funding models and solution, Strategic Policies and Framework for effective maintenance, management, and sustainability of Infrastructure. Social and Environmental impacts of Infrastructure Development: Ensuring Environmental and Socially sound sustainable Infrastructure.
