2 In Police Net Over Alleged Possession Of Large Quantity Of Cannabis Sativa, SK In Delta

Two middle aged men are now cooling their fetes in police net in Delta State over alleged possession of 313 wraps of substance suspected to be India hemp, 800 sachets of suspected SK and 10 razler.
One of the suspects, identified as Sunday Umada, 41, of Ogbodo quarters, Ogwashi- Uku, according to report, was arrested by police operatives attached to Operation Delta Hawk while on confidence building patrol at Ishekpe quarters, Ogwah-uku on 6th June 2021 at about 5.10pm.
The sum of N317, 890 was said to have been recovered from him at the time of his arrest.
Our correspondent reliably gathered that the second suspect, named Austin Ojunom 29, was arrested with 129 wraps of the substance during a raid of a black spot at Ogedengbe by police operatives attached to “A” Division Warri Rapid Response Team.
The Ag. Police public relations officer DSP Edafe Bright confirmed the arrest in a release made available to journalists on Thursday.
” On the 6/7/2021 at about 1710hrs, while operatives of operation Delta Hawk patrol team were on confidence building patrol at Ishekpe quarters Ogwahi-uku, they intercepted and arrested one Sunday Umadia ‘m’ 41yrs of Ogbobo quarters Ogwashi-Uku. Upon search,   one hundred and seventy-four (174) wraps of dried weed suspected to Indian hemp, eight hundred (800) sachet of suspected SK, ten (10) razler  (roll bond), one  (1) lighter and cash sum of three hundred and seventeen thousand eight hundred and ninety naira (N317,890) were recovered from him. Preliminary investigation later revealed that suspect is a major dealer in illicit drugs. Investigation is ongoing. 

Similarly, On 5/7/2021 at about 1300hrs, after series of intelligence gathering, ‘A’ Division Warri Rapid Respond team raided a black spot at Ogedegbe street Warri where one Austin Ojunom ,m, 29yrs was arrested with one hundred and twenty nine (129) wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp, suspect confessed to the crime. Investigation is ongoing”.
