Palace Renovation: Use Local Materials For Benefit Of My People, Emir Bamalli Charges Contractors

The Chairman, Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has charged contractors handling the renovation work at the place to use local materials for people around to benefit.
Emir Bamalli was speaking in his Palace when he received Commissioner of Housing and Urban Development who come to introduce contractors that will  handle the projects.
He said, the stipulated period of 16 months to complete the projects is highly appreciated and hoped that nothing will delay the work .
The emir firther said, the renovations is long over due as the world in going modernized and Zazzau emirate will not be left out.
He expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Governor of Kaduna State for approving the Palace mordernization projects.
Emir Bamalli warned that neither himself nor his representative should go for any gratification from the contractors.
Earlier in her remarks, the State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development Honourable Fausat Ibukunle told the emir that she come with the contractors who will do the project.
She said, the completion period of the renovation works is 16 months and they will do as agreed on the terms of the contracts.
The Commissioner also said, it was part of the governments policy to give traditional houses a facelift to look madernized.
