Many Feared Dead As Boko Haram Strikes Near SGF’s Village In Adamawa



Scores are feard dead following attack by suspected Boko Haram members on Danga Village near Secretary General of the Federation (SGF’s) home town in Hong Local Government cCouncil of Adamawa State in the early hours of Wednesday. 
New Nigerian learned that Danga Village,  came under heavy attack after the insurgents swooped on the unsuspecting villagers in commando style while they were still sleeping.
 Confirming the story, an eyewitness who luckily  escaped, the attack, said many have lost their lives, stressing that one of the community’s civillain warriors who attempted to repel the insurgents   was among those killed by the insurgents.
“As I speak with you now, the people of Danga have gone into hiding, half of the community have run away to neighboring villages for fear of being attacked”, he stated.
Reports reaching New Nigerian has it that the people in Garaha,  the SGF,  Boss Mustapha’s community are also not safe.
All efforts to contact 23 Armored Brigade Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Haruna Sani to confirm the story proved abortive.
