Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the report of an attack at Chol Village in Jos South Local Government Area, which led to the brutal killing of seven by yet to be identified armed men who stormed the area in a Hilux vehicle.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP I Okon who confirmed the development, said the report was filed at the state Police Command and that security men, including the Police and soldier’s were deployed to the area.
Assistant National Secretary of Gan Allah Fulani Development Association (GAFDAN), Malam Dauda Noma who addressed journalists, said, ” it was quite unfortunate that such callous killings is still features in the state “.
He decried the latest method of killings where the attackers stormed the scene of the incident in a vehicle.
Dauda openly accused the Miango people of Badsa Local Government Area for the attack which took place in Jos South Local Government Area of the state.
Also speaking on the allegation, Alhaji Ibrahim Mokawu corroborated the position of the GAFDAN Assistant Secretary.
He called on the Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong and all security agencies in the state to Identify the perpetrators of the brutal killings that left no cows around the scene.
On his part, Alhaji Bayero Bayari who spoke on behalf of the Fulani youth in the state, challenged the state security agencies to fish out the killers.
He adviced the youth never to take laws into their hands by attempting reorisal attacks.
