3 Oyo PMS Members In Police Net Over Iwo Road Clash – CP Onadeko

Oyo State Police Commissioner, CP Vivian Ngozi Onadeko on Monday disclosed that three members of the State Park Management System (PMS) are now in police net over the last week clash at Iwo road area of Ibadan.
CP Onadeko who made this known while briefing newsmen at the Oyo state Police Command headquarters Eleyele, Ibadan, the Oyo state capital also added that investigations is still on going on the Iwo road clash

The Commissioner of Police specifically stressed that the three PMS members were being paraded by the police ” for their involvement in the crisis that happened in Iwo Road last week Thursday.”
“These three people were arrested and paraded now due to their involvement in the crisis that happened on Thursday at Iwo Road,  though the investigation is still ongoing, I will continue to update you the about what we get from the investigation, and that is basically what is going on now.”,CP Onadeko said.
Speaking further, CP Onadeko said the command has deployed more tactical teams as well as drafted some policemen to ensure safety of residents of Oyo state in general.
” We are still having this incessant attacks of Okada riders, and we have continue to push more Policemen on the road,  and we are doing more than enough of police visibility and intelligent gathering, so I’m urging the members of the public to help with our jobs that if they see something they should say something to make Oyo State safer. “

She then tasked the people of Oyo state to at all times support the command with credible information so as to enable the command rid the state of criminal elements, saying, ” I’m using this medium to plead with everybody in the state to please support us with credible information that will assist us to do our job.
” Those perpetrators are not alien, they are not just dropping from the sky, they live within us, they are part of our society, so somebody must have seen something why don’t we say something that will help the entire society.”
