Contributors to a cooperative organization known as God’s Agenda Ladies and Men Cooperative Society International (GALMCSI) are calling on the government to help them retrieve their money from their Kaduna branch.
The contributors told the New Nigerian that efforts to reach the Kaduna coordinator, Mrs. Ele Samuel Helen had proved abortive as she doesn’t take her calls and the Barnawa office has remained shut for over a month.
One of the contributions, Mrs. Ovie Sylvester said that millions of Naira belonging to them have been trapped in the cooperative organization.
“The initiative was a good one in the first place but Kaduna coordinator is making life difficult for us. She doesn’t take her calls and the place has been locked up for over a month,” she said.
Attempts by journalists to reach Mrs. Helen have proved abortive.
It was also said that the founder/CEO of the cooperative organization, Mrs. (Lolo) Chinelo Nnajieze is also worried over the development.
Another contributor, Mrs. Evelyn Timothy wants government to help in the recovery of their money and arrest of the woman.
“Government should come to our aid, because some of us are using the money to do our business, but now we cannot even eat,” she appealed.
