The newly deployed Commandant of the Oyo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Corps Commandant, Adaralewa Michael Akintayo on Wednesday warned criminal elements to stay away from the state
Commandant Adaralewa handed down the warning at the Oyo State NSCDC command headquarters in Ibadan during his first briefing with officers and men of Oyo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on his arrival after the handing over ceremony.
According to him, his deployment to Oyo state command is to among others compliment the good work done so far by the former commandant of the Command, Alhaji Iskilu Akinsanya who had been redeployed to Delta state.
The new Oyo State NSCDC Commandant tasked men and officers of the command to be disciplined and dedicated to duty especially in their commitment towards riding the tate of all forms of criminality to engender peace and tranquillity.
Commandant Adaralewa while asking criminal elements to vacate Oyo State, solicited the support of all stakeholders in the State to enable him succeed like Commandant
In his remarks, the immediate past Oyo State NSCDC Commandant, Alhaji Iskilu Akinsanya who has been redeployed to Delta State NSCDC command as their new commandant thanked the government and good people of Oyo state for the encouragement given to him and appeal to them to to stretch same hand of love to his successor.
Commandant Adaralewa Michael was formerly Commandant Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Department at the National Headquarters before his redeployment to Oyo Command. He is an educator in CBRNE Emergency Response, detection and response, providing training and motivation for front line officers. An FBI-trained Post Blast investigator. He hail from Ekiti State.
