Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation Enjoins UFC Champion To Give Back To Society

President Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts, Henry George has called on UFC champion Kamaru Usman to support the growth of the sport at the grassroots in the country. 
George said the country is blessed with talented athletes in Mixed Martial Arts and if given little support, they will excell in their chosen endeavours. 
He said Kamaru’s arrival to the country is timely as the federation is preparing for the world championship in Bulgaria next month.
The Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation recently organised a refresher course for practitioners and officials with American mixed martial arts fighter D’ Juan Owens in Lagos to tutor participants on the  right skills of the sport
The Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation is affiliated to   the world body, International Mixed Martial Arts Federation. 

Kamaru Usman who has a staggering 19 wins out of 20 fights has established himself as a legend in the Welterweight category.


 The federation has since commended closed camp in Port Harcourt in  readiness for the world championship.
