Zamfara Corps Members Urged To Take Unity Campaign To Host Communities

The State Coordinator,  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Zamfara State, Namallan Mohammed has called on corps members to internalize the ideas of unity in diversity.
The state coordinator made the call during the NYSC cultural carnival to showcase unity in diversity held at NYSC permanent orientation camp in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
He tasked the Batch A Stream One corps members to internalize the ideas of unity in diversity acquired during the orientation week and extend them to their host communities during the service year.
Mohammed said the corps members of Batch A 2021 were mobilized when the unity of the nation is in critical stage that more hands need to be on deck to address the matter.
He said the corps members wealth of experience should be used in creating awareness to any community they find themselves to fold of one Nigeria is achieved.
Ten cultural heritage of Nigerians, including, Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Tiv, Igala, Idoma, Ibo, Yoruba, Ibibio and Ijaw were demonstrated during the carnival
The cross section of corps members interviewed assured to put all their best in promoting unity among host community of the respective places of their primary assignment. 
They noted with concerns the current agitation by some people to cause disunity, promising to do all they can to maintain this country as one.
