Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Ondo Tops 49 New Cases, Total 166,816

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) discovered 49 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in five states of the federation on Monday 7th June 2021.
The COVID-19-infested states yesterday were: Ondo 30, Lagos 15, Kaduna 2, Gombe 1 and Adamawa 1.
The total number of COVID-19 pandemic infections in Nigeria as of the end of 7th June 2021 is 166,816 confirmed cases. 163,190 patients had been treated of the global virus and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,117 people had been killed by the disease in the country to date.
There was no loss of life to COVID-19 in Nigeria Monday.
NCDC said that yesterday’s report included 51 community recoveries from Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
