The National Ear Care Center (NECC), Kaduna Joint Matriculation Ceremony For School of Post Basic ORL Nursing (SPBORL), School of Health Information Management (SHIM) and School of Audiology is historic.
School Coordinator SPBORL, Sarah Faleke stated this in her welcome address at the ceremony on June 3, 2021 at the institution’s Hall.
“The joint matriculation ceremony is historic because it is the first of its kind in the centre,” she said.
She explained that since ORL was introduced in 1999, they have produced over 700 students that are distinguishing themselves all over the country.
Faleke said the achievements of the centre has gained accolades from several quarters, including the 8th House of Reps committee that visited the facility recently.
The SPBORL explained that the National Ear Care Center is excellent in treating patients and training students.
She urged the students to tap from wealth of resource persons so that they can be proud ambassadors of the centre always.
“Take advantage of conducive learning atmosphere of the centre, don’t hesitate to seek clarification,” she advised.
She urged them to be focused and have a positive attitude to ensure they successfully complete their programme.
No fewer than 70 students matriculated with SPBORL having 50, while the other two schools, School of Health Information Management (SHIM) and School of Audiology had 10 each.
